Kate Marsi

Project Archivist

Kate Marsi is a project archivist hired to oversee ‘Ulu‘ulu’s National Endowment for the Humanities project from 2023 to 2025. Kate received her B.A. in East Asian Humanities from San Francisco State University, and graduated with her Master of Library and Information Science at University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa in 2023. She is a former intern with ‘Ulu‘ulu and has a wide range of experience in moving image, art, and special collection archives, including a summer residency at Frank Lloyd Wright’s winter home at Taliesin West. Kate aspires to continue working with art and moving image collections once her contracted time at ʻUlu‘ulu is finished. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, playing tennis, rec diving, and reading novels.
